EnginifyAI Platform Launch: Everything We Built

The EnginifyAI platform launch is here. From November 2024 through August 2025, we designed and built EnginifyAI from the ground up: an AI prompt management platform for professionals who work with large language models every day. This post covers everything included in the initial platform release, grouped by app area so you can see exactly what shows up in each part of the app.

Highlights

• Prompt libraries with versioning: Every prompt is organized, searchable, and versioned with full history.
• Five AI-powered prompt builders: Prompt Builder, Intent Builder, Analyzer, Designer, and URL-to-Prompt Kit.
• AI content extraction from any URL: Turn web pages into organized prompt libraries with no copy-paste.
• Multi-provider AI, plus BYOK: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and xAI supported, with the option to bring your own API keys.
• Full subscription system: Explorer, Builder, and Pro tiers, a 7-day trial, lifetime plans, and Stripe self-service billing.

Libraries

• New: The library system, the core of EnginifyAI. Libraries are collections of prompts you can organize by project, topic, client, or any structure that fits your workflow.
• New: Library Explorer, a central dashboard for browsing, searching, and filtering all your prompt libraries with usage statistics and quota tracking.
• New: Multiple ways to create a library. Build one manually, extract content automatically from any URL using AI-powered scraping, or paste content directly from the web.
• New: The Create Hub, a guided starting point that helps you choose the right creation method based on what you are working with.
• New: Full library customization: custom icons and colors, descriptions, visibility settings (private, team, or public), and hierarchical organization with groups and categories.
• New: Quota-aware creation. You get real-time visibility into your library limits based on your subscription tier, so you always know where you stand before starting.
• New: AI content extraction from any URL. Provide a URL and EnginifyAI fetches the page, analyzes its structure, and extracts prompts, templates, instructions, and examples into a new library.
• New: Playwright-powered scraping handles JavaScript-heavy sites that a simple fetch cannot render, so content extraction works on modern single-page applications, not just static pages.
• New: Multi-model extraction for large documents. Content is chunked and processed across multiple AI models for thorough, accurate results.
• New: Background processing for extraction jobs with real-time status tracking, so you can keep working while content is being processed.
• New: Smart categorization. Extracted content is automatically sorted into instructions, templates, settings, and examples, then organized into your library.

Prompts

• New: The Prompt Explorer, a central hub for browsing prompts across all libraries. It ships with five statistics cards, real-time search, library filtering, and infinite scroll.
• New: Four view modes for the Prompt Explorer: grid, list, compact, and detailed, so you can browse the way that suits you.
• New: Sorting and filtering across the Prompt Explorer. Sort by date, name, or library, and filter by tags, favorites, and version count.
• New: Prompt versioning. Every edit creates a new version with full history, so you can see how a prompt evolved and revert if needed.
• New: Manual prompt creation with a dedicated form for writing prompts from scratch, including library assignment, tagging, and inline save.

Prompt Builder

• New: A step-by-step wizard that walks you through archetype selection, persona configuration, and output formatting, then generates an optimized prompt using AI. Rather than writing from scratch, you make a few choices and get a strong, well-structured prompt back.

Intent Builder

• New: Describe what you need in natural language and Intent Builder breaks it down into dimension groups with selectable badges, then generates targeted prompts for each combination. It lets you cover multiple angles of a use case in one pass without writing each variant by hand.

Analyzers

• New: The Prompt Analyzer. Paste any existing prompt and get a detailed analysis of its structure, effectiveness, and clarity, along with suggestions for improvement, powered by your choice of AI model.

Designer

• New: A visual composition tool with controls for tone, formality, conciseness, point of view, citation style, and template variables. Multiple generation pipeline styles are included, along with a professional business communication mode for polished workplace output.

URL-to-Prompt Kit

• New: Paste any URL and EnginifyAI analyzes the page content, suggests relevant extraction intents organized by category, and generates a complete kit of prompts tailored to that specific content. It is the fastest way to build a working prompt set from a real reference page.

Settings

• New: Support for four AI providers: OpenAI (GPT-4o, GPT-4o Mini, GPT-4 Turbo), Anthropic (Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Claude 3.5 Haiku, Claude 3 Opus), Google (Gemini 1.5 Pro, Gemini 1.5 Flash), and xAI (Grok 2, Grok Beta). Use the model that fits each task.
• New: Bring Your Own Key (BYOK). Connect your own API keys for any supported provider, with encrypted storage and per-request key validation.
• New: A dedicated API key management page for adding, testing, replacing, and removing keys for each provider, with real-time connection status indicators.
• New: Intelligent model selection. EnginifyAI automatically picks the best model based on task type, cost constraints, and quality requirements, with automatic fallback if a provider is unavailable.
• New: Multiple subscription tiers: Explorer (free), Builder, and Pro, each with increasing limits for libraries, prompts, versions, and AI credits.
• New: A 7-day free trial for Builder features with trial-specific quota limits, so you can try before committing to a paid plan.
• New: Lifetime plan options (Solo and Starter) as one-time purchases, with dedicated tier management.
• New: Self-service billing through Stripe’s customer portal. Manage your subscription, switch plans, change billing cycles, view invoices, and update payment methods.
• New: Real-time quota enforcement across AI credits, libraries, prompts, and versions. Clear modals explain what to do when you hit a limit, so nothing fails silently.

Help

• New: A searchable help center accessible from every section of the app, with dedicated guides for the Dashboard, Library Explorer, Prompt Explorer, Prompt Builders, API Keys, Subscription, and more.
• New: Context-sensitive navigation. Each help guide includes a “back to” link that returns you to the relevant section of the app.
• New: Getting-started workflows with step-by-step guides for common tasks: creating your first library, generating prompts with AI, and configuring API keys.

Across the App

• New: Full dark mode support across every page and component in the app.
• New: A consistent page layout across the entire app. Every page uses the same shared containers and components, so the experience feels cohesive as you move between features.
• New: Role-based navigation. The sidebar shows or hides sections based on your subscription tier and feature access, so what you see reflects what you actually have.
• New: Predictable, reliable access control. Public and authenticated routes are managed from a single source of truth, so pages behave consistently based on whether you are signed in and what your plan includes.
