Tier-Based Model Access & Credit Fixes

11/06/2025

Version: 1.19.16, Date: November 6, 2025

Tier-based model access is now in place across EnginifyAI. The AI model selector shows only models available on your subscription plan, so you never select something you cannot use. Credit pricing has been simplified from complex per-token calculations to a clear credit multiplier system, and a critical bug that was double-charging credits on builder generations has been fixed. The rest of this post is grouped by app area.

Highlights

  • Tier-based model filtering: Only see models your plan supports.
  • Credit multiplier pricing: Simple three-tier cost structure replaces complex per-token math.
  • Double-charging bug fixed: A generation that cost 4 credits is now 4 credits, not 8.
  • Better tone, format, and freshness options: More choices, better organization.

Across the App

  • New: The AI model selector now shows only models available on your subscription tier. Previously all 100+ models were visible regardless of plan, which could lead to selecting a model you did not have access to. Each tier has a curated set of models appropriate for that plan level.
  • New: AI model pricing has been simplified from complex per-token calculations to a clear credit multiplier system. Models are organized into three pricing tiers, making it easy to understand the relative cost of each model before you use it.
  • Fixed: A critical bug was double-deducting credits on every builder generation. A generation that cost 4 credits was deducting 8. Credit deductions now match actual costs accurately.
  • Fixed: The AI model selector no longer shows stale model lists when switching between features. The component now properly refreshes when your user context changes.

Builders

  • Improved: Numbered prefixes have been removed from section titles (for example “5. AI Model Selection” is now just “AI Model Selection”) for a cleaner appearance.
  • Improved: The 26 tone options are now grouped into six logical categories: Professional, Friendly & Casual, Creative & Engaging, Analytical & Objective, Persuasive & Emotional, and Stylistic. A new “Motivational” tone has been added. A typo in “Authoritative” has also been corrected.
  • Improved: Content freshness labels have been rewritten to be more outcome-focused. For example, “Latest & Trending” is now “Up-to-Date, Emphasize Modern Examples & Ideas,” and a new “Current Context” option has been added for time-sensitive content.
  • Improved: Three new format options have been added: Outline, Summary, and Template.
  • Improved: The context input description has been clarified to better communicate its purpose.
  • Improved: After generating a prompt, the success notification now shows credits used and your remaining balance on two lines, giving you real-time visibility into your credit consumption.

Analyzers

  • Fixed: Analyzers were not filtering models by subscription tier, showing all 100+ models regardless of plan. Analyzers now respect the same tier-based model restrictions as builders.

09/01/2026

Version: 2.12.3, Date: September 1, 2026 Highlights Prompt Chains is the headline of this release, but the real theme is agreement: the dashboard, the help center and the left menu had drifted apart, so the same feature could go by two names depending on where you looked.
