Export Formats & Workflow Credit Tracking
Version: 1.24.0, Date: May 10, 2026
Export formats now work the same way across every builder and analyzer in EnginifyAI, and Workflows gets real-time credit tracking and quota enforcement so you always know what a run is costing you. This release pairs a consistent multi-format export experience across the app with clear cost visibility and guardrails on Workflows, so long AI-intensive runs no longer feel like a black box. The rest of this post is grouped by app area.
Highlights
- Multi-format export everywhere: HTML, Markdown, and Plain Text from a single dropdown on every builder and analyzer.
- Real-time credit tracking in Workflows: Every step tells you exactly what it used the moment it finishes.
- Quota enforcement in Workflows: Get a clear message before running instead of a silent failure when you are out of credits.
- BYOK bypasses Workflow quotas: Your own key runs are not subject to platform credit limits.
Workflows
- New: Real-time credit tracking after every workflow step. When a step completes, a notification shows exactly how many credits it used, for example “Step completed • 0.42 credits used.” You no longer have to guess how AI-intensive a workflow is; cost surfaces right in the interface as execution happens.
- New: Quota enforcement on workflow step generation and step execution. The system now checks your available credits before generating steps and before running each individual step. If you have hit your plan’s limit, you get a clear message with your remaining credit info, instead of a silent failure or an unexpected cutoff partway through a run.
- Improved: If you have connected your own API key, workflow step generation and execution are no longer subject to platform credit limits. BYOK runs go through your key without a platform quota check in the way.
Across the App
- New: A consistent multi-format export dropdown is now on every builder and analyzer page. Hover the Export button and choose HTML (styled, opens directly in your browser), Markdown (.md, preserves all formatting), or Plain Text (.txt, clean and stripped). Previously, export options varied from page to page. The dropdown now appears in the same place, with the same three options, across Analyzers, Workflows, the Prompt Builder, Library Detail in both view and edit modes, and the Intent Builder.
- Improved: Exported files are now automatically named based on what you exported, so your downloads folder stays organized instead of filling up with generic filenames. A confirmation notification also appears after every export, so you know it completed successfully rather than wondering whether the file actually saved.
