Smarter Credit Handling for Your Own API Keys

Your own API keys now get smarter treatment behind the scenes in EnginifyAI. This release is infrastructure-focused, with no new screens or buttons, but it puts in place the internal logic that decides whether an AI request should draw from your platform credit balance or route through your personal key. It sets the stage for accurate, fair credit accounting across every builder and tool, which gets wired up feature by feature in the releases that follow.

Across the App

  • Improved: BYOK credit routing is now in place platform-wide. EnginifyAI lets you connect your own API keys for providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and xAI. With this release, the platform can determine on every AI request whether to draw from your monthly platform credits or route the call through your personal key for that provider. When you have your own key connected for the provider being used, that usage no longer counts against your platform credits. This behavior gets wired to individual AI-powered features in upcoming releases.
