Chain Sharing Arrives, Plus Pack Publishing Controls
Version: 2.24.0, Date: September 10, 2026
Chain sharing did not exist until this release. Every chain was private to whoever made it, with no way to publish one to anyone, which made chains the only feature with no sharing model at all. Chains now use the same sharing control as blueprints and analyzers, and topic and variable packs get their publishing controls moved somewhere you can actually find them.
Chains
- New: Chains can be Private, Team (reserved for a later release) or Global, using the same control and the same one time consent prompt as blueprints and analyzers.
- New: Chains can be saved as drafts and published when you are ready.
- Improved: Every chain you already have stays private and published exactly as it was.
- Improved: The chains list still shows only your own chains for now. A browse view for shared chains comes in a later release.
Building Blocks
- New: The pack edit window gains a Published and Draft control, so you can change publishing alongside the pack’s name, description, categories, icon and color.
- New: “Edit Main Topic” and “Edit Main Variable” buttons sit to the left of “+ Add Topic” and “+ Add Variable” on the pack editor pages, opening those same settings without a trip back to the list.
- Improved: Publish and Unpublish is now the first action on topic and variable pack cards, ahead of the icon and color pickers, in both the row and grid layouts.
