Subtopic Generation Stays on Topic and on Count

09/12/2026

Version: 2.31.3, Date: September 12, 2026

Subtopic generation inside “Edit topic” now does what the name suggests. Generating from that window used to be able to create new topics rather than adding to the one you opened, and the count you set was a starting point rather than a result, because anything filtered out as a duplicate left the run short.

Building Blocks

  • New: Generated subtopics carry a “New” badge until you save or close the window, so you can see what just arrived.
  • New: A “Sort A to Z” checkbox, on by default, sorts topics and subtopics after generating. With it off, new items are added at the bottom.
  • Improved: The subtopic count is the number of new subtopics you get. The request asks for a few spare candidates, and one follow up request is made if the duplicate filter leaves the run short.
  • Improved: Subtopics stay on their topic. The request names the exact topic, reads the heading literally, so “Introduction to…” produces overview material, treats the pack name as background, and keeps off the other topics’ ground.
  • Improved: Count rules you set in AI Instructions, such as even numbers only, are now enforced.
  • Improved: Near duplicate subtopics are dropped: rewordings within the same topic, and exact matches under other topics. The topic’s and pack’s own words are ignored when comparing, so they do not make everything look similar.
  • Improved: Subtopic minimum and maximum start at 1, and the Topics minimum in “Add topics” can be 0. A maximum can no longer be lower than its minimum: raising the minimum raises the maximum, and a low maximum snaps up when you leave the box.
  • Improved: The “Edit Main Topic” button is purple, matching “Add Topic”.
  • Fixed: Generating inside “Edit topic” adds subtopics to that topic only, and never creates new topics. The subject box, the Topics minimum and maximum, and the Add topic and Delete topic buttons are hidden while you are editing a topic.

Leave it closed and everything works exactly as it did. Open it and you choose the stages your topics should cover, which turns a general list into one built […]

Topic Popup Now Names the Topic You Are Editing

09/12/2026

Version: 2.31.4, Date: September 12, 2026 The topic popup did not tell you which topic you had opened, which is easy to lose track of in a large pack. It does now, and the A to Z sorting is split so you can order topics and subtopics independently. Building Blocks

Library Editing Restored, Plus the Prompts Tag Count

09/12/2026

Version: 2.31.1, Date: September 12, 2026 Library editing stopped working for owners after v2.29.0, and this release restores it. The library page was checking ownership against the wrong piece of your session, which meant it never recognized anyone as the owner. Because v2.29.0 put every editing action behind that check, owners lost the prompt card […]
