Domain-Specific Builder Complexity Levels

10/07/2025

Version: 1.16.0, Date: October 7, 2025

Builder complexity levels now use domain-specific terminology instead of generic “Level 1 through Level 5” labels. The Creative Builder’s levels read Foundational to Visionary, while the Analysis Builder uses Surface-Level to Expert-Level. Every builder also gets a custom tip card with best-practice guidance, and complexity markers are now clickable for faster selection. The rest of this post is grouped by app area.

Highlights

  • Domain-specific complexity terms: Every builder uses terminology that fits its domain.
  • Clickable complexity markers: Jump to any level with a single click.
  • Contextual descriptions per level: Know what each level means before you select it.
  • Custom tip cards on every builder: Domain-specific best practices and recommendations.

Builders

  • New: Domain-specific complexity terminology across every builder. Each builder now displays complexity level names that reflect its domain:
    • Creative Builder: Foundational, Professional, Imaginative, Innovative, Visionary
    • Analysis Builder: Surface-Level, Professional, Deep-Dive, Strategic, Expert-Level
    • Data Builder: Basic Structures, Professional, Analytical, Architectural, Master-Level
    • Task Builder: Quick Task, Standard Task, Enhanced Task, Advanced Task, Expert Task
    • Teaching Builder: Basic Templates, Professional Structures, Analysis Frameworks, Strategic Architectures, Master Paradigms
    • Healthcare Builder: Basic Clinical through Medical Leadership
    • Financial Builder: Basic Financial through Regulatory & Risk Excellence
    • And many more, each with unique, contextually appropriate terminology
  • New: Clickable complexity markers. The numbered markers (1 to 5) on the complexity slider are now clickable. Instead of dragging the slider, click any marker to jump directly to that level. Hover effects with color transitions indicate which markers are interactive.
  • New: Contextual descriptions per level. Selecting a complexity level now displays a description explaining what that level means for the specific builder you are using. For the Creative Builder, Level 5 (“Visionary”) explains it targets transformative creative vision; for the Analysis Builder, Level 5 (“Expert-Level”) explains it involves hypothesis testing and full analytical rigor.
  • New: Custom tip cards on every builder. Every builder now includes a contextual guidance card explaining its primary use case, recommended complexity-vs-quantity tradeoffs, specific output recommendations, and domain-specific best practices. Coverage spans all builder categories:
    • 7 archetype builders (creative, analysis, data, reasoning, task, teaching, student learning)
    • 2 persona builders (individual, team)
    • 3 specialized builders (business, research, meta-prompt)
    • 4 industry builders (financial, healthcare, legal, technical)
    • 3 integration builders (API, platform, tool-chain)
    • 3 compliance builders (audit, ethics, regulatory)
  • Improved: Graceful fallback for unconfigured builders. Any builder that has not yet received custom complexity metadata falls back to universal default labels, so the experience stays consistent as new builders are added.
  • Improved: The complexity selection interface has smooth transition animations, hover color changes on markers, and level badges that display the contextual label (for example “Visionary” instead of “Level 5”), making the control more polished and informative.

Prompt Chains and a Dashboard That Matches the Menu

09/01/2026

Version: 2.12.3, Date: September 1, 2026 Highlights Prompt Chains is the headline of this release, but the real theme is agreement: the dashboard, the help center and the left menu had drifted apart, so the same feature could go by two names depending on where you looked.
