Account Security & Password Management

Password management now works end to end from Settings, and email changes are supported with real-time confirmation detection. This release also introduces graceful trial expiration (you keep read access when your trial ends instead of getting locked out), corrects quota display for trial users, and fixes the password reset flow across browsers and devices. Settings

• New: Change your password directly from the Settings page. Enter your current password for verification, and the new password must meet strength requirements. A success notification confirms when the change is complete.
• New: Change your email directly from the Settings page. After verifying your current password, a confirmation email is sent to your new address. Once confirmed, your email updates automatically. The Settings page detects the confirmation in real time, so you do not need to refresh or navigate away.
• Improved: The quota enforcement modal now includes a “Check Quota” button, and action buttons open your quota and subscription pages in new tabs so you do not lose your work in progress.
• Improved: Quota information now appears in a consistent order across pages: Libraries, Prompts, Versions, Credits, and BYOK.
• Improved: Trial users now see accurate credit limits (for example, “1/20 credits used” instead of “1/0”), and the subscription page clearly communicates what is included in the free tier after a trial expires.
• Fixed: Password reset emails were failing for some users due to how the reset link’s authentication token was processed. The flow has been rebuilt to work reliably across all browsers and devices.
• Fixed: Trial tier credit limits were displaying as zero instead of the actual configured amount for some users. Trial users now see their correct allocation.
• Fixed: When you cancel a subscription, the system now properly tracks and displays that your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, rather than showing confusing status information.

Across the App

• New: Graceful trial expiration. When your free trial ends, your account automatically transitions to a free tier instead of being locked out. You retain login access and can download your existing prompts, and a clear upgrade path is available whenever you are ready to subscribe.
• Improved: EnginifyAI branding is now on the forgot-password and reset-password pages, completing consistent branding across every authentication screen.
• Improved: When setting or changing a password (during signup, reset, or in Settings), you see a live requirements checklist with checkmarks that update as you type. A notice reminds you that reset links expire after one hour.
• Improved: The email verification resend page has been simplified to focus on its primary purpose. If your email is already verified, you get a clear message directing you to the login page instead of confusing alternative sign-in options.
• Improved: A daily automated process handles expired trials, ensuring users are transitioned to the free tier promptly and consistently without manual intervention.
