Clearer AI Usage Details Across Every Feature

05/18/2026

Version: 1.26.0, Date: May 18, 2026

AI usage details are now front and center across every AI-powered feature in EnginifyAI. Whether you are running on platform credits or using your own API key, you can see exactly what each generation used, right when it happens and in plain language. Along the way we made notifications consistent everywhere, cleaned up how credits are displayed, sped up every AI request, and added the ability to choose your own provider and model in the URL-to-Prompt Kit.

Highlights

  • Usage confirmed on every generation: See exactly what each AI request used the moment it finishes, everywhere in the app.
  • Choose your model in the URL-to-Prompt Kit: Pick the provider and model that fits the task and your budget.
  • Accurate messaging for your own API key: Notifications now reflect token usage instead of platform credits when you bring your own key.
  • Faster AI generations: Redundant processing removed from every AI request.

URL-to-Prompt Kit

  • New: Choose your provider and model when generating a prompt from a URL. A selector on the configure screen lets you pick which AI does the work. Previously the Kit was locked to a single built-in model with no way to change it, so you could not match the model to the task or to your budget. Now you control the capability and the cost of every generation.
  • Improved: The URL-to-Prompt Kit now reports AI usage the same way as the rest of the platform. It previously had no usage notifications at all and relied on a basic browser pop-up to report save errors. Save and usage messages now match the notification system used everywhere else.

Across the App

  • Improved: Every AI-powered feature now confirms what your request consumed as soon as a generation completes, instead of showing a generic “success” message that told you nothing. If you are on platform credits, you see how many credits were used and how many you have left. If you are using your own API key, you see the exact token count processed through your key.
  • Improved: AI usage details now cover every AI surface, including the Prompt Builders, Analyzers, Workflows, Intent Builder, Designer, and URL-to-Prompt Kit. A few areas, including workflow summary generation, did not report any usage information before, which meant activity could happen without confirmation. Every AI surface now reports what it used, giving you a complete and reliable picture of your consumption.
  • Improved: If you bring your own API key, notifications now correctly reflect that and show your token usage rather than platform credits. Previously, people using their own keys saw platform credit messages that did not apply to them, which was both inaccurate and confusing. That has been corrected across every feature, so what you see always matches how you are actually paying.
  • Improved: Credit amounts now round to the nearest whole number wherever they appear, instead of showing as long, hard-to-read decimals. A value that used to read as “4.87 credits” now simply reads as “5 credits.” It is a small change that makes your usage far easier to read and track at a glance.
  • Improved: Success and error messages now look and behave the same no matter which feature you are using. The Designer previously used an older notification style that stood apart from the rest of the app. It now matches the notification system used everywhere else, so the experience feels unified from one feature to the next.
  • Improved: AI generations across the platform are faster. We removed redundant processing that was running several times on every AI request without adding any value, streamlining the work behind each generation. Requests now complete with less overhead, which you are most likely to notice during high-volume workflows and rapid back-to-back generations, where the time savings add up.
  • Fixed: Some success notifications were displaying two checkmark icons side by side instead of one. Notifications now show a single, clean checkmark exactly as intended.
