Designer Personalization & Reasoning Style Updates
April 22, 2026
The Designer wizard received a focused overhaul to its Personalization step, cleaning up redundant options and introducing a dedicated Reasoning Style section that gives you more deliberate control over how AI approaches your prompts.
Improvements
- Reasoning Style — new section in Step 16: A new set of radio-card options lets you specify how the AI should think through your request. You can now select from approaches including Step-by-Step, Chain of Thought, Scratchpad, Brainstorm First, Consider Alternatives, Comparative Analysis, and Deductive Reasoning — or leave it to the AI to decide. Each option includes a description and preview so you know what to expect before committing.
- Maintain Neutrality — upgraded to radio cards: This control was previously a dropdown. It’s now a radio-card selector consistent with the rest of the Designer interface, making it faster to scan and easier to choose.
- Duplicate step removal: Several configuration steps that appeared more than once across different sections of the Designer have been consolidated. The workflow is now cleaner, with no repeated questions.
Deprecated / Removed
- Counter-Perspective (former Step 15 in Voice): This option has been removed from the Voice section, where it was a duplicate of the same control in the Basics section. If you were using it in Voice, the Basics version remains and behaves identically.
- Secondary Elements and Response Opening (former Steps 22–23 in Output): These steps have been removed from the Output section as part of the consolidation. The remaining output configuration steps cover the same ground without redundancy.
