Designer Personalization & Reasoning Style Updates

04/22/2026

Version: 1.20.0 Date: April 22, 2026

Reasoning Style is now a first-class control in the Designer wizard, giving you more deliberate say in how the AI thinks through your prompt. The Personalization step also got a focused overhaul: redundant options across the wizard have been consolidated, and the Maintain Neutrality control was upgraded to match the rest of the Designer interface.

Designer

  • Improved: A new Reasoning Style section in Step 16 lets you specify how the AI should think through your request. A set of radio-card options covers approaches including Step-by-Step, Chain of Thought, Scratchpad, Brainstorm First, Consider Alternatives, Comparative Analysis, and Deductive Reasoning, or you can leave it to the AI to decide. Each option includes a description and preview so you know what to expect before committing.
  • Improved: Maintain Neutrality is now a radio-card selector instead of a dropdown, so it matches the rest of the Designer interface. It is faster to scan and easier to choose from.
  • Improved: Several configuration steps that appeared more than once across different sections of the Designer have been consolidated. The workflow is cleaner now, with no repeated questions as you move through the wizard.
  • Removed: Counter-Perspective has been removed from the Voice section, where it was a duplicate of the same control in the Basics section. If you were using it in Voice, the Basics version remains and behaves identically.
  • Removed: Secondary Elements and Response Opening have been removed from the Output section as part of the consolidation. The remaining output configuration steps cover the same ground without redundancy.
