Prompt Studio: Section Categories and Clearer Saves

07/29/2026

Version: 2.4.5, Date: July 28, 2026

Prompt Studio gets a naming, color, and layout pass in this release. The word “library” was doing too much work: it named both your section groupings and the place saved output lands, and the save buttons across analyzers and workflows were all the same shade, so it was hard to tell what a click would actually save. This release renames Section Libraries to Section Categories, gives every save action its own color and icon, and adds the ability to move sections between categories. Generation, quotas, and account behavior are untouched.

Highlights

  • Section Libraries are now Section Categories: The rename runs through navigation, page titles, help text, the picker, and the create and edit modal, so the word “library” now consistently means a save destination.
  • Move sections between categories: You can relocate a section to another of your categories, or in and out of Loose Sections, without recreating it.
  • Save buttons you can tell apart: Asset saves are purple, prompt saves are blue, each with its own icon, replacing the single violet shade used for both.
  • Prompt Studio in the sidebar: The custom cards area is now named Prompt Studio, with Browse and Run, Create, My Prompts, and Section Categories beneath it.

Prompt Studio

  • New: You can now move a section between your categories, and in or out of Loose Sections. A guard prevents moving a section into a category whose scope does not match, so a private section cannot land somewhere it does not belong.
  • New: The removed-sections view gained the same move action, along with a guarded permanent delete for sections you are certain you no longer need.
  • Improved: Section Libraries has been renamed to Section Categories everywhere it appeared: navigation, page titles, subtitles, help text, the picker sheet, and the create and edit modal.
  • Fixed: A false “No sections yet” message flashed for a few seconds while your sections were still loading, suggesting an empty category that was not empty.
  • Fixed: A phantom “Loose Sections” card appeared because deleted sections were still being counted. Only active sections are counted now, so the card reflects reality.
  • Improved: The “no longer exists” empty state is centered rather than off to one side, and the create and edit modal labels have been restyled with clearer icons and numbered badges showing tab order.
  • Improved: Page titles, subtitles, and the “What this page does” help text across the Prompt Studio pages have been refreshed to match the new naming.

Analyzers

  • Removed: The Run shortcut on the My Analyzers grid has been removed. Owners run an analyzer from its edit page, which is the path that carries the full set of options, so the grid shortcut was a partial duplicate.
  • Improved: Saving an analyzer as an asset is now labeled “Save Analyzer” rather than a generic save, matching the naming rule applied across the app.

Across the App

  • Improved: Save actions now use one color and one icon per save type. Save Asset is purple with a package icon and Save Prompt is blue with a save icon. Previously both were the same violet, which made them effectively indistinguishable in analyzers and workflows. Save actions also sit a shade darker than the process cards around them, so committing something reads differently from running it.
  • Improved: Save naming has been standardized so the bare word “Prompt” always means the saved asset. “Save Custom Prompt” is now simply “Save Prompt”, and saves of generated output keep their “to Library” wording so the destination stays clear. Saving a workflow as an asset uses a process-flow icon.
  • Improved: The save-to-library options have been recolored blue with single clean borders, replacing the green focus rings and doubled border they carried before.
  • Improved: Required and Optional badges are now solid red and solid gray everywhere, including the create prompt page, where the badge had been rendering translucent and washed out.
  • Improved: The sidebar section is now named Prompt Studio, with Browse and Run, Create, My Prompts, and Section Categories beneath it, and refreshed descriptions on each item.

Workflow Run Status Now Shows on Every Step Tab

07/29/2026

Version: 2.4.6, Date: July 28, 2026 Workflow run status was hard to read while a workflow was actually running. The step menu used a set of small glyphs that did not distinguish a running step clearly, and the four section tabs carried no status signal at all, so clicking into a finished or not-yet-started step […]
