Test Builder: Independent Variables Prompt Generation

09/12/2025

Title: Version: 1.9.0 Date: September 12, 2025

Test Builder is a new builder that lets you experiment with how complexity and output count interact as truly independent variables in prompt generation. Where the Task Builder and Analysis Builder optimize for specific workflows, Test Builder gives you a sandbox to try any combination (like high complexity with a single output, or low complexity with twenty outputs) and see how the generation engine adapts. It is both a power-user tool and a way to validate prompt quality across the full range of possibilities. The rest of this post is grouped by app area.

Test Builder

  • New: A new builder available from the Creation Hub that treats complexity (1 to 5) and output count (1 to 20+) as fully independent variables. Test any combination to see how the prompt generation engine adapts, which makes it a useful tool for understanding and optimizing your prompt strategies.
  • New: Automatic strategy detection. Based on your complexity and output combination, Test Builder identifies and applies the optimal generation strategy:
    • Deep Dive Mastery for high complexity with few outputs (thorough, focused analysis)
    • Broad Coverage Efficiency for low complexity with many outputs (fast, comprehensive coverage)
    • Comprehensive Mastery for high complexity with many outputs (full-depth, full-breadth)
    • Balanced Professional and Focused Excellence for combinations in between
  • New: Generation metadata tracking. Each test generation records detailed metadata about which strategy was selected and why, so you can compare results across different combinations and understand what drives quality differences.
  • New: Save to library. Test-generated prompts can be saved directly to your libraries, so when you find a combination that produces great results, you can keep and reuse the prompt.

Blueprint Composer Gets Locked Default Sections

09/13/2026

Version: 2.33.0, Date: September 13, 2026 Highlights The blueprint composer had two pieces that could be moved and edited but should never have been: Main Idea and AI Model sat in Blueprint Sections alongside the sections you actually assemble, and the preview offered a text box for a main idea that the person running the […]

Topic Pack Focus: Choose the Stages Your Pack Covers

09/13/2026

Version: 2.32.0, Date: September 13, 2026 Highlights Topic pack focus is a new, optional section in “Add topics” that tells generation what the pack is for. Leave it closed and everything works exactly as it did. Open it and you choose the stages your topics should cover, which turns a general list into one built […]

Topic Popup Now Names the Topic You Are Editing

09/12/2026

Version: 2.31.4, Date: September 12, 2026 The topic popup did not tell you which topic you had opened, which is easy to lose track of in a large pack. It does now, and the A to Z sorting is split so you can order topics and subtopics independently. Building Blocks

Subtopic Generation Stays on Topic and on Count

09/12/2026

Version: 2.31.3, Date: September 12, 2026 Subtopic generation inside “Edit topic” now does what the name suggests. Generating from that window used to be able to create new topics rather than adding to the one you opened, and the count you set was a starting point rather than a result, because anything filtered out as […]
