Builder Form Library Management Improvements
October 10, 2025
This release polishes the builder workflow and addresses several issues across library pages. Builder forms now have clearer section numbering and visual hierarchy to guide you through the prompt creation process. On the library side, a critical bug that hid prompts has been fixed, a new unsaved changes warning prevents accidental data loss, and library management gains color customization and improved navigation.
Improvements
- Numbered builder sections — The “Generated Prompt” and “Save to Library” sections in builder forms are now numbered sequentially (sections 7 and 8), with contextual icons, making it clearer where you are in the build workflow and what comes next.
- Improved button styling — The “Generate Prompt” button has been updated with a green gradient that visually distinguishes it from other actions, and the “Save to Library” section uses a violet theme for clearer visual separation.
- Save to Library marked as optional — The save section now displays an “Optional” badge in the header, making it immediately clear that you can generate prompts without saving them to a library.
- Library color customization — Library management now includes a color picker, letting you assign a custom color to any library for quick visual identification across your library list and cards.
- Library management navigation — The management page now has a proper navigation header with a back arrow, the library’s icon, and a clickable title that returns you to the library detail view. The layout matches the library detail page for visual consistency.
- Unsaved changes protection — When editing a prompt in a library and clicking a different prompt card, you’ll now see a warning dialog if you have unsaved changes. This prevents accidental data loss when switching between prompts during editing. The warning appears for both new prompt creation and existing prompt edits.
- Equal-width library columns — The library detail page now uses a 50/50 split between the prompt list and the detail panel, giving both sides equal space and improving readability on wider screens.
- Compact library list view — Library cards in list view now use tighter padding and spacing for a denser, more scannable layout. Creation dates always appear on the right side regardless of whether a description is present.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed prompts not displaying in libraries — A favorites filter was getting stuck in an enabled state, causing libraries to appear empty even when they contained prompts. The filter has been fixed so prompts display correctly by default.
- Fixed username display in library headers — Library headers now show just the username portion of your email (e.g., “username”) instead of the full email address, keeping the header clean and readable.
- Fixed grid view button overflow — In the three-column grid view, creation dates are now hidden to prevent action buttons from overflowing their cards.
