Lifetime Deals and Flexible Plan Support
December 20, 2025
This release introduces support for lifetime deal purchases as a new way to access EnginifyAI, alongside the existing subscription plans. The subscription settings page has been updated to handle all plan types accurately.
New Features
- Lifetime deal support. EnginifyAI now supports one-time lifetime purchases in addition to recurring subscriptions. Lifetime plan holders get permanent access with monthly-refreshing AI credits — no recurring charges.
- Suspended account handling. If a payment issue occurs, your account enters a suspended state with a clear explanation of what happened and how to resolve it. You retain read-only access to your existing content while the issue is being addressed.
Improvements
- Accurate subscription page for all plan types. The subscription settings page now correctly displays information for every type of account — free trials, monthly/yearly subscriptions, and lifetime deals. Lifetime users see their one-time purchase price (e.g., “$49 (one-time)”) instead of a monthly rate, and their access is shown as permanent.
- Correct tier display throughout the app. Your plan name now shows accurately in the sidebar and subscription settings regardless of your plan type. Previously, some lifetime users were incorrectly shown as “Explorer.”
- Subscription management for active subscribers. A “Manage Subscription” button appears for users with active recurring subscriptions, linking to the Stripe customer portal for self-service billing management.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed signup completion page for lifetime purchases. The signup completion page was incorrectly parsing tier information for lifetime purchases, which could result in missing quota details. It now correctly shows all your plan limits (libraries, prompts, versions, credits) regardless of how you purchased.
- Fixed expand/collapse button styling. The expand/collapse toggle on prompt content areas had inverted background colors in certain states. This has been corrected for consistent visual behavior.
- Fixed hardcoded stat card defaults. Some stat cards were showing placeholder values (100 prompts, 500 versions) instead of your actual plan limits. These now pull from your actual tier configuration.
