Trial Quota Fix & Builder Filter Improvements

Trial quota enforcement is now correct. A bug was allowing trial users to generate prompts even after they had exhausted their credits, and it has been fixed. The Builders page also gets improved filter behavior: Category, Specialty, and Methodology dropdowns now work independently, preventing duplicate cards and making the active filter clearer. The rest of this post is grouped by app area.

Builders

• Improved: The Category, Specialty, and Methodology dropdowns now work independently. Selecting one automatically resets the others to “All.” This prevents duplicate builder cards from appearing when multiple filters overlapped, and makes it clearer which filter is active. If no builders match your selection, a helpful empty state with a Reset button appears instead of a blank page.
• Improved: The stat cards on the Builders page now reflect actual counts, 12 categories and 14 specialties, matching what is available in the dropdowns.

Settings

• Fixed: Trial users could previously exceed their actual credit limits because a code path was overriding trial limits with a higher tier’s allocation. The quota enforcement system now uses your actual configured limits, and the enforcement modal correctly appears when you have used all available credits. This affects both subscription trial and lifetime trial users.
