Prompt Blueprints: A Single Name for Prompt Studio

09/02/2026

Version: 2.13.0, Date: September 2, 2026

Highlights

A Prompt Blueprint is a guided prompt experience that someone designs once and anyone can run. The author decides the questions, meaning the sections, the topic choices and the exposed variables. Whoever runs it answers those questions, presses Generate, and gets back a refined prompt. Until now this feature went by five different names depending on which screen you were looking at, and the guides described labels that were not on screen. This release settles on one vocabulary and rewrites everything that uses it

  • A Prompt Blueprint is what you build in Prompt Studio. One name, used everywhere, instead of five.
  • Authoring and running are now clearly separate. The copy says who can do what, on which screen.
  • The guides were rewritten. Including a documented button that never existed.

Prompt Studio

  • Improved: The saved thing you create is a Prompt Blueprint, or just a blueprint. A block inside one is a Section. The reusable pieces you assemble it from are Building Blocks. The word “card” is retired from the interface entirely.
  • Improved: The sidebar now reads Browse and Run, Create a Blueprint and My Blueprints, and the dashboard tile and help index match.
  • Improved: The headings, stat tiles, buttons, search placeholders, empty states, tooltips and confirmation messages across the browse, my blueprints, create, edit and run screens all use the new wording. The composer panel that read Custom Prompt Form Sections is now Blueprint Sections, and its counter counts sections rather than cards.
  • Improved: The split between authoring and running is now visible in the wording. Whoever created a blueprint can edit it and everyone else can run it, and the browse and run screens no longer use build, design or compose language, which belongs on the create and manage screens.
  • Fixed: The authoring guide told you to fill in the Main Idea and then press Generate on the create screen. There is no Generate there; the preview panel is display only. The guide now says so and points at Save and Run as the way to test what you have built.
  • Fixed: The guide’s note about credits was wrong. Designing a blueprint costs nothing. Generating and running cost credits, and so does using AI to draft a description or purpose.

Across the App

  • Improved: The Prompt Studio guides have been rewritten. The overview opens with a plain definition and compares Prompt Studio against Templates, Analyzers, Chains and Library, so it is clear which one to reach for. The authoring guide is now a three step walkthrough that documents topics and variables properly for the first time. The run guide opens by saying there is nothing to build there.
  • Improved: Help page titles match the left menu exactly: Browse and Run, Create a Blueprint, My Blueprints, Run a Blueprint and Edit a Blueprint. Cross links and the help index use the same five names.

Blueprint Composer Gets Locked Default Sections

09/13/2026

Version: 2.33.0, Date: September 13, 2026 Highlights The blueprint composer had two pieces that could be moved and edited but should never have been: Main Idea and AI Model sat in Blueprint Sections alongside the sections you actually assemble, and the preview offered a text box for a main idea that the person running the […]

Topic Pack Focus: Choose the Stages Your Pack Covers

09/13/2026

Version: 2.32.0, Date: September 13, 2026 Highlights Topic pack focus is a new, optional section in “Add topics” that tells generation what the pack is for. Leave it closed and everything works exactly as it did. Open it and you choose the stages your topics should cover, which turns a general list into one built […]

Topic Popup Now Names the Topic You Are Editing

09/12/2026

Version: 2.31.4, Date: September 12, 2026 The topic popup did not tell you which topic you had opened, which is easy to lose track of in a large pack. It does now, and the A to Z sorting is split so you can order topics and subtopics independently. Building Blocks

Subtopic Generation Stays on Topic and on Count

09/12/2026

Version: 2.31.3, Date: September 12, 2026 Subtopic generation inside “Edit topic” now does what the name suggests. Generating from that window used to be able to create new topics rather than adding to the one you opened, and the count you set was a starting point rather than a result, because anything filtered out as […]
