Analysis Builder: Domain-Specific Prompt Creation
Version: 1.7.1, Date: September 6, 2025
Analysis Builder is a new prompt builder purpose-built for research, investigation, and analytical work. Rather than forcing analytical prompts through a generic task-oriented workflow, it uses domain-specific terminology, analytical frameworks, and complexity levels calibrated to the depth of analysis you need. It also establishes the pattern for future specialized builders. The rest of this post is grouped by app area.
Analysis Builder
- New: A complete prompt builder specialized for research and analytical work, available from the Creation Hub. It uses analytical terminology throughout (research questions instead of tasks, methodologies instead of steps) so the prompts it generates are tuned for investigative and evaluative work.
- New: Domain-specific AI generation. The prompt generation engine behind the Analysis Builder produces structured analytical frameworks including research question scoping, data collection strategies, and methodology recommendations. Generated prompts guide you through a proper analytical process rather than a generic task list.
- New: Analysis type selection. Choose the kind of analysis you are performing (comparative, financial, risk, market, and more) and the builder adapts its framework recommendations accordingly. A competitive market analysis gets different structural guidance than a financial risk assessment.
- New: Five analytical complexity levels, mapped to analytical depth rather than simple task counts:
- Level 1, Basic Analysis: 3 to 4 focus areas using fundamental frameworks
- Level 2, Standard Analysis: 4 to 5 areas with established methodologies
- Level 3, Comprehensive Analysis: 5 to 6 areas with integrated frameworks
- Level 4, Advanced Analysis: 7 to 9 areas with cross-validation techniques
- Level 5, Strategic Analysis: 10+ areas with hypothesis testing and full analytical rigor
- New: Analytical framework integration. Generated prompts can incorporate established frameworks like SWOT analysis, Porter’s Five Forces, and statistical analysis methods, matched to the complexity level and analysis type you select.
- New: Creation Hub integration. The Analysis Builder is accessible directly from the Creation Hub alongside the Task Builder, with dedicated help guidance explaining analysis-specific features.
- Improved: The AI model selector is available within the Analysis Builder, letting you choose which model generates your analytical prompts.
