Task Builder & Analysis Builder — Specialized Prompt Creation Tools
September 6, 2025
Today’s release brings two major additions to EnginifyAI: the Task Builder and the Analysis Builder. Each tool is purpose-built for a specific kind of prompt creation work — so instead of starting from a blank page, you start with a structured, expert-guided workflow tailored to your use case. Both tools connect directly to your prompt libraries, so everything you create is organized and reusable from day one.
New Features
- Task Builder — A guided, multi-step prompt creation tool for structured workflow tasks. Define your task, set complexity, choose output formats from a curated selection, pick your AI model with cost preview, and generate a complete prompt ready to save to your library. Output format options are organized into four groups: Quick Summaries & Responses, Lists & Organization, Communication & Instructions, and Processing & Verification — and you can select multiple formats at once.
- Analysis Builder — A dedicated prompt builder for research and analytical work. It uses domain-specific terminology, complexity levels, and analytical frameworks (including SWOT, Porter’s Five Forces, and statistical methods) to generate prompts calibrated to the depth of analysis you need. Choose from five complexity levels ranging from basic descriptive analysis to comprehensive strategic research, with time estimates matched to each level.
- AI Model Selection with Cost Preview — Both builders include a model selector that shows you the estimated cost before you generate, so you can make an informed choice based on your task and budget.
- Multi-Format Output Selection — Select one or more output formats per prompt. A live preview shows your current selections, and validation ensures at least one format is chosen before generating.
- Intelligent Library Icons — Libraries now display contextual emoji icons automatically assigned based on their name and content. Custom icons appear consistently across all library views — the detail page, list view, and grid view. Existing libraries without icons fall back gracefully.
Improvements
- Library Save Flow — When saving a prompt from either builder, you can save to an existing library, create a new library inline, or use your default library. A search field is available when selecting from existing libraries. New libraries automatically receive an assigned icon during creation.
- Expanded Prompt Database — The underlying data model now supports 29 distinct builder types across 8 categories, making it straightforward to add additional specialized builders in the future.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a display issue where dropdown menus in the model selector could appear behind other elements on the page.
- Resolved an issue where library icons displayed inconsistently across different views of the same library.
- Fixed a problem where some libraries created before this update could cause display errors — older libraries now fall back to a default icon reliably.
