Auto-write Arrives in the Section Editor

Auto-write is now available in the section editor, covering the two pieces of writing that used to slow authors down most: the AI directive that tells the model how to synthesize a section, and the help text that explains each field to whoever fills it in. Both are drafted from what you have already entered, and both stay fully editable afterward.

Section Categories

• New: An Auto-write button in the directive row drafts a two to four sentence AI directive for the section, built from the section’s name and the labels of the fields inside it. It is a starting point you edit, not a final answer, and it removes the blank box that made authors put off writing directives entirely.
• New: A compact Auto-write button on each field’s help text row drafts a hint for that field, using the field’s name, its type, and any options you have defined. Filling in help text for a ten-field section is now a matter of clicking through rather than writing ten hints from scratch.

• Improved: Both buttons stay visible at all times and appear grayed out until they have enough to work with. The directive button needs the section to be named, and each help button needs its own field named. Nothing disappears from the interface, so you can always see what is available and what it is waiting on.
• Improved: Auto-write in the section editor is metered exactly like every other AI action in the app, and the usage notice behaves the same way it always has.
• Improved: The section page header actions were reordered to Edit Category, then New Section, which follows the order you would naturally work in.
