Analyzer Duplication Keeps Categories on the Copy

Analyzer duplication was quietly losing categories. v2.17.0 moved analyzers onto the shared Categories building block and copied categories when you duplicated one, but the copy’s categories were rejected before they were saved, so every duplicate arrived with none. This release fixes that, and clears out the last places that still read the old category field.

Analyzers

  • Fixed: Duplicating an analyzer now attaches its categories to the copy. The categories are saved after the copy’s instructions are in place, so a duplicate arrives complete and ready to edit.
  • Improved: The analyzer run page and the analyzer lists no longer read the retired category field, so they will keep working when it is removed for good.
